A NEW company formed in New Zealand solely to distribute Sirane’s packaging solutions in the region is exhibiting at a food industry trade show in Auckland in September.
aDeo is a newly formed company, started by Chris Brent, who said the primary reason for creating the business was to offer Sirane the support it deserves in New Zealand.
They will exhibit at Foodtech/Packtech in Auckland – the country’s main food industry and packaging show – where he will be supported by Sirane sales director Jeremy Haydn-Davies.
“After seeing the innovation and diversity of the product range Sirane has, coupled with the contacts I have made over the last 12 years working in the packaging industry, it was mutually beneficial to create aDeo and become an agent for Sirane”, said Chris.
“Unlike other companies that will just add Sirane product to a list of other products for which they are agents, I have made the strategic decision to make Sirane aDeo’s only agency, becoming a true specialist in all of the products Sirane manufactures.
“This means aDeo’s interests are not divided and are instead giving 100% of aDeo’s time to Sirane products, and I believe they offer huge potential in New Zealand.
“With products for the meat sector – significant here in New Zealand – as well as seafood, fruit, and more, and specialisms ranging from absorbency to cooking bags, shelf-life extension to compostable packaging, there’s a huge amount to offer.”
Chris said he plans for aDeo to become not just a product specialist, but an industry specialist company, focusing on industries which can benefit from Sirane products, which includes most forms of processing plants related to meats, fruits and vegetables to name just a few of the many opportunities. aDeo will become heavily involved in these businesses, understanding their individual and specific needs, and developing solutions.
“Our goal is to educate the customer about the added benefit that will be gained by investing in Sirane’s unique products,” said Chris, “and I can’t wait to get started.”
