SIRANE had a successful Fruit Logistica in Berlin – with plenty of interest in our paper-recyclable absorbent pad Earthpad.
The show – moved from its regular February date to April due to COVID – is without doubt the most important global date in the fresh produce calendar.
And Sirane joined the UK pavilion for the first time.
Karl Heggarty, Head of Global Sales, said: “Fruit Logistica is without doubt the most important date in the fruit calendar, and it’s a few years since Sirane exhibited there, partly due to recent cancellations of the show.
“It was great to be back, and we really enjoyed being part of the ‘UK team’. Our recyclable paper-based absorbent pad Earthpad is ideal for fruit, and it generated a lot of interest, with some really good inquiries.
“Sustainable packaging as a whole was what people wanted to talk about, with inquiries also coming in for compostable pallet wrap, and we also had interest in our plastic-free recyclable barrier papers and films.”
