SIRANE will be exhibiting sustainable packaging solutions at the Future Summit in London – a one-day conference which is being held on Tuesday, May 23.
The Future Summit – which takes place at Conway Hall, London – is described by the organisers (Bread & Jam) as “a day of sharing best practice. You will come away inspired, with an understanding of why food and drink brands with a purpose do better and matter more, so you can in turn make a positive change whilst pursuing your vision of building a successful, impactful food and drink business”.
The Future Summit will include a Sustainable Packaging Zone – which is where Sirane will be found – “check out the latest innovations in sustainable packaging for mission driven food and drink brands. Our industry experts will be on hand all day to provide advice, ideas and inspiration to help you achieve your sustainability goals”.
Peter Ralten, commercial & business development director, said: “Sirane has been at the forefront of developing sustainable packaging solutions in recent years, so we’re really pleased to be able to exhibit in the Sustainable Packaging Zone.
“Sustainable packaging solutions we offer include kerbside recyclable paper-based barrier films and stand-up pouches, recyclable PE pouches including spouted pouches and more. Even our printing is as sustainable as it can possibly be.
“We offer traditional Flexo printing, using only water-based inks and adhesives, and have recently invested in a state-of-the-art digital offset printing press – benefits of which include short runs, short lead-teams and energy efficiency.”
Sirane also offers a number of other sustainable packaging solutions – with both our board division and absorbency divisions having products of interest to this sector.
These include our new recyclable/compostable cake-boards and cake drums, recyclable/compostable salmon boards, and paper-recyclable absorbent pads.
Sirane is an innovative packaging development-to-manufacture company, with expertise in absorbency, board and flexibles, as well as material science. The company’s specialisms include: board; bags, pouches & film including traditional flexibles; absorbent products; assembly & fulfilment; plastic replacement and more.
