SIRANE will be exhibiting at London Packaging Week in around a month’s time – and it’s a great opportunity to discover our board division…
Earlier this year a million-pound investment saw our innovative board division move into a new site close to our existing Telford manufacturing site.
And we can offer a wide range of products and services.
Ross Griffin, head of board, said: “We offer a wide range of products, including cake & patisserie boards, cake collars, salmon/meat boards, pizza boards and more – all available as standard or in a recyclable version.
“We can also offer ovenable boards for a variety of applications.
“However, it doesn’t stop there. Sirane can offer products such as susceptor boards for crisping food in the microwave, including as U-cards.
“And U-cards and J-cards – used to cradle food in packaging and to enhance on-shelf presentation – can be supplied plain or printed.
“We’re also able to supply shelf-ready packaging – SRPs, FSDUs etc – with our own in-house CAD design team able to assist where needed.”
Our recyclable board options – Earthboard – are coated boards which offer the same barrier/moisture protection as plastic-coated board but without the plastic. Instead we use natural coatings which don’t affect recyclability.
Earthboard has allowed us to offer sustainable plastic-free alternatives for products such as salmon boards, cake-boards and more.
Karl Heggarty, head of global sales, said: “London Packaging Week promises to be a great show, and as ever Sirane has plenty of new developments.
“Many of our developments are in the sustainable packaging sector and include packaging which is either recyclable, plastic-free or both.
“There’s also the opportunity to talk to us about any of our packaging – including absorbency and absorbent pads, ovenable/microwaveable packaging including cooking bags, traditional flexibles, board and more.
“And we’ve also recently launched our co-packing service, Sira-Pack, which means we can offer the whole packaging solution: primary and secondary packaging; design services, co-packing and fulfilment.”
London Packaging Week was formerly known as Packaging Innovations London – this year it has been rebranded for the first time.
Sirane will be at London Packaging Week at the Olympia, London, from September 21-22 – find us on stand H12. We’re also exhibiting at Plastic Waste-Free World in Cologne, Germany, from November 9-10.
