Recyclable cake drums – our Earthboard Eco Cake Drums are commonly used in the bakery industry. A water-based coating gives the board the necessary grease/moisture barrier.
Our Earthboard Eco Cake Drums are coated boards which offers excellent grease & moisture resistance, and are perfect for heavier cakes such as fruit cakes. The drums are food contact approved, and our Earthboard Eco Cake Drums are both compostable (EN 13432) and recyclable, and are completely free of plastics. The barrier coating is water-based. They are recyclable in the paper/card stream.
Earthboard Eco Cake Drums are available with either pearlescent coatings (gold, silver, black as standard), or solid Pantone colours (white & grey as standard). Non standard colours are subject to MOQs.
Standard sizes include (diameter) 6in, 7in, 8in, 9in, 10in 11in, 12in, 13in, 14in, 15in, 16in, 17in and 18in. Circular or square. These sizes are sometimes held in stock – please ask. Other custom sizes/ shapes are available – just ask. Drums can also be supplied custom printed.
We can supply either 3000 micron (3mm), 4500 micron (4.5mm) or 6000 micron (6mm) thick Earthboard Eco Cake Drums.
