SHOWS: Fruit Focus – popular industry gathering is on and Sirane will be there…

Fruit Focus 2021 takes place in East Malling, Kent

FRUIT Focus – one of the biggest dates and more popular gatherings in the UK fruit industry calendar – takes place next month, and Sirane will be there.

The show takes place in East Malling, Kent, on July 21, and despite the delay on the lifting of lockdown restrictions, it has been given the go-ahead to take place.

Simon Balderson, Sirane MD, said; “We’re really looking forward to this one, it’s been a long time since we have been able to attend any sort of show, so it’s great news that Fruit Focus is able to go ahead. This has always been a show we have enjoyed attending.

“We have plenty of packaging solutions for the fruit sector, including a range of different absorbent solutions and shelf-life extending films, and much more.

“Whether a new or old face, you’ll be made very welcome at Sirane’s stand.”

A statement from the organisers, in relation to the show still going ahead, said: “Fruit Focus 2021 will go ahead as planned despite the delay in the lifting of lockdown restrictions, as it will still comply with local and national legislative measures.  As an outdoor agricultural event, Fruit Focus will not be affected by the delay in the final easing of lockdown restrictions, meaning it will be going ahead and open to all ticket holders as planned.

“Absolute care has been taken in regards to biosecurity for Fruit Focus 2021.

“Measures will include: available sanitisers, optional face masks and social distancing, queue management, an open air theatre and biosecurity briefings onsite daily.”

Sirane is a highly innovative product development-to-manufacture company based in Telford, Shropshire. It has four divisions: food packaging; medical and healthcare; industrial and horticultural. The company’s specialisms include absorbent solutions.

Fruit Focus was among many shows postponed in 2020.
