SIRANE has headed for Taropak in Poland, with head of global sales, Karl Heggarty, joined at the show by our new representative for Central and Eastern Europe.
Karl is visiting the show in Poznan with Michal Šedek who will head up our expansion plans for the region – and they will also be visiting Polagra, which is in the same venue.
We’re about to set up a new operation in the Czech Republic – Sirane Central & Eastern Europe. More news on that will be available very soon.
Karl Heggarty said: “With some exciting news imminent on our plans for the region, it seemed a great opportunity to visit a show and make contact with long-standing customers, as well as potential new customers, and explain to them our plans for the future.”
Taropak runs from October 4-6 and is described as the International Trade Fair of Packaging Technology and Labelling. The show is held in the MTP Poznan Expo.
Sirane is an innovative packaging development-to-manufacture company, with expertise in absorbency and material science. Specialisms include sustainable packaging, bags and pouches, absorbent products, shelf-life extension and dual-ovenable products.
It has four main divisions: food packaging; medical & healthcare; horticultural and industrial. The company is based in Telford, Shropshire, with additional manufacturing in Guadalajara (Mexico), and Moscow (Russia).
