Our standard cake boards are PE-coated boards and are used as part of the packaging by the bakery industry. Common colours for cake-boards include black, gold, silver (including foil backed) and white. Other colours are available on request.
Standard sizes (circular) are 6in, 7in, 8in, 9in, 10in, 11in & 12in diameter, but custom sizes are available. Also available are square, hexagonal, oval, rectangular etc.
Options for cake boards include scalloped edges and embossed surfaces, and custom shapes (such as Valentine’s Day hearts) are also available.
For anyone looking for something eco-friendly, we can supply compostable and recyclable cake boards – an aqueous coating gives the necessary grease resistance. Sirane can also supply patisserie boards (including tabbed) and cake-collars.

Earlier this year Sirane completed the acquisition of Olympic – a UK-based manufacturer of board products supplying the bakery, fish and cake industries among others which is based just outside Stroud, Gloucestershire.
Other products include salmon boards, pizza boards and U-cards/J-cards.
Now known as Sirane Stroud, the site has specialised board processing equipment and are highly skilled in board processing operations. They supply products throughout the UK through both via distributors and direct sales.
