We hope you are well and staying safe during these unprecedented times. We wanted to update you with our current status and the steps we’re taking to ensure the safety of our team and others.

We remain committed to providing the superior service and support that our customers have come to expect throughout this situation. In addition to this we will continue to monitor the UK guidelines on the outbreak to ensure we maintain our strict conduct.

We realise this situation remains very dynamic, as information continues to change day-to-day, and we will continue to provide you with updates as we learn more. Delivery and continuation of supply will be maintained. Sirane will continue to monitor press releases to ensure we are in-line and in most cases operating above the UK guidelines.

Some of the steps we are taking are detailed below and if you wish to discuss any concerns then please feel free to contact us.

Employee monitoring

Sirane will continue to monitor anyone that is traveling abroad for any reason and action appropriately. Anyone that has returned from abroad will be asked to self-isolate for 2 weeks. Anyone that has any of the symptoms are also being asked to self-isolate for two weeks as per the government recommendation.

Sirane will ensure meetings abroad will be postponed, and any UK based meetings will be held via skype or video calling to limit the risk.

Sanitisation - additional cleaning - and health and safety

Sirane have installed sanitising stations around strategic areas and informed suppliers, employees and visitors on the importance of regular handwashing and sanitisation of hands. Sirane have adopted additional cleaning and sanitisation regimes for high risk areas within the factory such as handrails, doors and handles, factory entry points and toilets.

We are also ensuring that each employee understands how we can all work together to reduce the risk of contracting Coronavirus. As well as hygiene posters we will also be providing leaflets about hand washing and other useful information.

Our teams have full training in health and safety procedures and have received further guidance in relation to keeping our workers as safe and secure as possible during the Coronavirus situation.

Materials, delivery and supply

Sirane will ensure that materials purchased are reviewed continuously, and we are working hard to ensure both the security and continuity of supply

Guidance from governing bodies

Sirane will monitor WHO (World Health Organisation) and their essential steps for developing or updating a national pandemic influenza preparedness plan. In addition to this action statements issued by the FSA will also be reviewed daily for any concerns around food production/packaging.

Visitors to site

Sirane will limit visitors to all of our sites. Any visitors travelling from overseas have been asked to review and postpone meetings until the outbreak has subsided.
