A COOKING bag for all seasons – whatever the weather, true versatility in one great cooking bag for the oven or BBQ is offered with a recent product from Sirane.
While it may be raining in Biblical proportions in much of the UK at the moment, many retailers will already be planning ahead for the summer barbecue season.
Sirane’s Sira-Cook Supreme bag could well be the answer – a cooking bag that can be thrown on the BBQ or used in the oven, a solution whatever the weather.

The bag – which has just gone into full-scale production – is available in four standard sizes and in a standard and non-stick version. It comes with a clear top panel – so users can see what’s being cooked – and can be heat-sealed for ‘ready meals’.
“This means it could be supplied into store in ‘BBQ ready meal’ packs” said Mr Balderson. “Equally stores could supply meals in oven-ready bags all-year-round, the fact that it could be barbecued if the sun comes out could be merely an added bonus.
“The largest bags on offer as standard would comfortably hold a meal for the whole family.”
Bags are perfect for meat, fish, poultry and vegetables – anything that can be cooked in an oven or on a barbecue can be cooked in this bag – and it means people will no longer have to cook separately for meat-eaters and vegetarians, as the bags can sit side by side.
